
A SWAT situation in Green Bay ended peacefully and with two people in police custody.
Officers were in the 1200 block of Day Street at around 11:00 a.m. Thursday (December 14th)on a report of a domestic violence situation involving a gun.
SWAT and crisis negotiators were called when the man stopped communicating with the uniformed officers, resulting in a three-hour standoff.
At around 2:00 p.m., the yet unnamed 31-year-old man exited the residence without further incident, and charges are being filed.
A second individual was also detained, however, they have since been released.
The investigation into the situation is ongoing.
