The Wisconsin Supreme Court, now under a liberal majority, declined an immediate hearing for the challenge to the state’s school choice program.
Financed by the progressive owner of Minocqua Brewing Company, Kirk Bangstad, the challenge argues that school choice is unconstitutional and harms public schools in Wisconsin.
The court, without comment, directed the case to proceed through lower courts. Supporters of school choice, benefiting over 50,000 students in the state, celebrated the court’s decision.
