A pregnant woman was attacked in Brown County, leading to the arrest of a 25-year-old man.
The attack was reported to have occurred at the Starbucks on Kimball Street in Green Bay this past Sunday.
Witnesses reported seeing a man, later identified as Jorge Martinez-Ramirez, biting and choking a woman.
The victim and Martinez-Ramirez had been living together for about a week, and she says the incident started because she put on perfume, which he did not like.
The victim told police that she ran out the back door of their house and went to the coffee shop to escape.
Martinez-Ramirez is facing six charges, including Attempted 1st Degree Intentional Homicide, Intimidating a Victim with Use or Attempt of Force, Strangulation and Suffocation, False Imprisonment, Battery, and Disorderly Conduct, each with repeater and domestic violence enhancements.
