The results of the autopsy conducted on a weekend homicide victim in Green Bay are in, but they are not being released.
The Green Bay Police Department has stated that they are holding on to those results while the investigation is ongoing and that the family of the 30-year-old victim asked that his name not be released.
The individual was found in a home in the 1700 block of Western Avenue at around 6:30 Saturday evening (December 9th) after a report came in of a disturbance between two people.
45-year-old Owen Backus is currently being held in the Brown County Jail on $1 million cash bond, however official charges have yet to be filed.
As of now, he is the only suspect in the case, which is still under investigation.
