A Green Bay woman will be going back on trial after her previous one was declared a mistrial.
19-year-old Marcelia Fonseca was 15 when she was accused of starting a fire that killed her infant nephew in 2019.
She is facing charges of 1st Degree Intentional Homicide and Arson of a Building without the Owner’s Consent and was in court back in October when a jury could not come to a unanimous verdict.
The prosecution has stated that they do intend to retry the case, which the court scheduled for May 1st through the 10th.
She remains in the Brown County Jail on a $150,000 cash bond despite pleas from her family to get a signature bond.
