
More than 250 students will be celebrating their educational achievements on Saturday, December 16th, during Lakeshore Technical College’s fall graduation celebration, which will take place on the college’s Cleveland campus.
Among the almost 300 credentials being awarded are 244 associate degrees, technical diplomas, and certificates, as well as 52 General Education Development (GED) certificates and High School Equivalency Diplomas (HSED).
“The commitment and perseverance demonstrated by our students to accomplish their educational goals and make it to this day is admirable,” says Lakeshore President Dr. Paul Carlsen. “Our faculty and staff wish them all the best as they begin this new chapter in their lives, filling workforce needs throughout our community.”
Each college division has a designated timeframe to be in Centennial Hall, located in the Lakeshore building, though students may attend when it works best for them.
- Business, Technology, Culinary, Advanced Manufacturing, Agriculture, Auto, Public Safety, and Energy: 10-11 a.m.
- Break: 11-11:15 a.m.
- Health & Human Services: 11:15-Noon
- General Education Development (GED) certificates & High School Equivalency Diplomas (HSED): Noon-12:30 p.m.
All buildings on campus will be open 8 a.m.-1 p.m. to everyone wanting to celebrate with the students. College representatives will be celebrating with students throughout the day.
A pop-up store will also be open in the Lakeshore building for purchasing logo apparel and accessories.
