The Family Service Association of Sheboygan has a unique event planned for this weekend.
The Festive Family Dogs in Costumes Fundraiser is at 3 Sheeps Brewing on North Avenue in Sheboygan.
The event on Sunday (December 10th) includes a dog costume contest and is in support of funding financial education for struggling families in Sheboygan County.
Registration for the contest opens at 2:30 p.m. with a $10 fee per dog.
The contest itself begins at 3:30 p.m., and winners will be declared at 5:00 p.m.
Audience members get to vote for their favorite costumed dog by buying tickets in $5 increments.
Remember that all dogs should be on a leash whether they’re in the contest or not.
There’s also a bake sale and live music from the Jesse & James Band from 2:30 to 5:00 p.m.
Plus, Nina’s Pita Hut food truck will be at the event from noon until 6:00 p.m.
