A Madison Police officer sustained injuries while responding to a disturbance at the Summit Credit Union on East Wilson Street.
The police were called to address a man yelling at a customer using the ATM.
The individual struck the responding officer inside the ATM vestibule.
After consulting with Journey Mental Health, the man was taken to a medical facility for assistance, while the officer incurred only minor injuries.
