Those who are looking to finish off their Christmas shopping list or just want a fun day out are encouraged to check out a free event that will encapsulate all of Downtown Two Rivers on Saturday (December 16th).
Cool City Christmas will feature numerous activities and participating businesses.
Central Park West will play host to Santa Claus, who tells Seehafer News he plans on bringing some of his elves and some of his iconic reindeer while Harmann Studios will be on hand to take pictures.
Mrs. Claus won’t be too far away, as she will be taking photos with guests in the Washington House from noon to 6:00 p.m.
Holiday music will fill the air thanks to the Two Rivers High School carolers while skaters slide around on the newly installed ice skating loop.
Skate rentals are free on the day, thanks to Community First Credit Union.
Also making an appearance will be the Two Rivers Police Department’s only K9 officer, Xanti, and his handler, Officer Andy Lade.
The Community House will house a vendor fair from noon to 6:00 p.m., along with face painting.
Even Manitowoc is getting involved, as they will be a part of the City-to-City Candy Cane Hunt, which will run from 9:00 to 3:00 p.m.
A full list of activities can be found on the Explore Two Rivers website.
