With Jim Knickelbine set to retire, the Woodland Dunes Nature Center in Two Rivers has announced who will be stepping in to take over his role.
The leadership team didn’t have to look far, as Sue Crowley, who has been serving as the Land Management Coordinator at Woodland Dunes, has been named as the next Executive Director.
Knickelbine has held the position for the past 19 years and announced earlier this year that he will be retiring at the end of 2023.
Crowly will take over on January 1st and will use her years of experience at the DNR to help lead the Dunes into the future.
