Madison lawyer Jair Alvarez, who had been evading arrest for four months, is now in custody at the Dane County Jail.
Alvarez was apprehended in Florida in November, facing charges related to allegedly pointing a handgun at his roommate and assaulting him with a baseball bat.
Alvarez maintains his innocence, claiming that his roommate was the actual aggressor.
