
A shooting in Appleton over the weekend left one person injured.
According to the Appleton Police Department, officers were sent to the 500 block of West College Avenue at around 2:00 Saturday morning (November 25th) on a report of a physical disturbance.
As the officers were arriving on the scene, a shot rang out and the crowd scattered.
The shooter could not be identified, but one person was hit by the round.
The unidentified individual was taken to an area hospital with what were termed non-life-threatening injuries while a single casing and other evidence was collected at the scene.
As of this morning (November 27th), no updates have been reported, and the investigation continues.
