The Public Service Commission of Wisconsin has approved a two-and-a-half percent rate hike for We Energies, following last year’s eleven-percent increase.
Going forward, the Commission will be focused on ensuring affordability for customers.
PSC Chairwoman Rebecca Cameron Valcq stated that the Commission will closely examine utilities throughout the state, their transition to green energy, and how it affects the bills of their customers, if and when We Energies requests its next rate increase.
