Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) Deputy Secretary Sam Rikkers will be shopping at locally owned businesses in communities across Wisconsin this holiday season, including at stores in Two Rivers and Sheboygan.
In support of Governor Tony Evers’ proclamation of November 25th through December 31st being “Shop Small Wisconsin” season, Rikkers will be making stops in Waunakee and Portage today (November 22nd) and Ashland on Saturday before making his way to Eastern Wisconsin.
On Monday (November 27th) Rickers will start in Sheboygan, shopping at locally owned businesses in the downtown area at 1:00 p.m. before going to the Cool City at around 3:00 p.m. to do the same.
Rikkers will also take a look at the newly renovated Central Park as part of the funding for that massive project came from WEDC’s Vibrant Spaces Grant Program.
