The 16-year-old boy who was arrested for a shooting in Appleton in July will be tried in adult court.
Cashmere Williams is facing a charge of Attempted 1st Degree Intentional Homicide and has pleaded not guilty.
Appleton Police were called to the north side park on July 31st, at around 4:45 p.m. on a report of a person who had been shot in the arm and stomach.
Two people who witnessed the shooting quickly identified Williams as the shooter, so police went to his home, which was two blocks away.
Williams answered the door in different clothes than the witnesses described, and reportedly appeared to have attempted to shave his own head.
No trial date has been set as of this morning.
