Governor Tony Evers and UW-Madison Chancellor Jennifer Mnookin strongly criticized a recent neo-Nazi march through downtown Madison.
Approximately 20 members of a neo-Nazi group marched towards the Capitol last weekend.
Governor Evers asserted that “neo-Nazis, antisemitism, and white supremacy have no place in Wisconsin,” while Chancellor Mnookin expressed her horror at the march on campus.
No injuries or damages were reported, as the small group was outnumbered by onlookers, reporters, and police officers present to ensure public safety.
Over the weekend, several Wisconsin congressmen also voiced their condemnation of the march.
