Firefighters in Johnson Creek commend a vigilant friend for likely saving the life of an elderly hunter trapped in a swamp in Watertown Township.
Responding to a call around 5:30 p.m., firefighters rescued the man, who had been stuck in waist-deep water for over an hour, suffering from hypothermia.
After extricating him from the swamp, the firefighters transported him to the hospital for further treatment.
