A man was arrested over the weekend after causing a disturbance at a Manitowoc hospital.
According to police reports, officers were sent to Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, located at 2300 Western Avenue, just before 10:00 Sunday evening.
The caller reported a man was standing in the lobby without a shirt, yelling and making gun gestures.
When the officers arrived, the man was outside, still yelling without a shirt on.
When asked to sit down, the man would comply, but then stand up, and sit back down multiple times.
The officers were able to contact the suspect’s mother, who told them that the man had been drinking all day, and had consumed a full 24-pack of beer, plus four 24 oz cans.
The man was checked for weapons before being detained on a charge of Disorderly Conduct.
