Indiana State Police say there are no survivors from the crash of a twin-engine turbo-prop plane that crashed Thursday in west-central Indiana. The crash took the life of Kewaunee County businessman John Pagel, his son-in-law Steve Witcpalek and pilot Nathan Saari. The Cessna 441 that took off from Eagle Creek Airpark at 7:20 P-M was headed for Green Bay.
John Pagel represented the Town of Casco on the Kewaunee County Board. His family operates a dairy farm known at Pagel’s Ponderosa, as well as the Cannery Public Market in downtown Green Bay.
The National Transportation Safety Board is handling the investigation of the crash.
