The most recent candidate vying for a position on the county board in Eau Claire is still in college.
UW-Eau Claire junior Matthew Lehner has declared his candidacy for the District 22 seat.
Lehner ran for another county board seat in April last year but was unsuccessful.
As a third-year political science student and the president of the UW-Eau Claire College Democrats, Lehner intends to focus on issues like abortion and the legalization of marijuana in his campaign.
