Officer Emily Breidenbach and Officer Hunter Scheel
The Chetek Police Department is organizing a fundraising effort to send the families of officers Emily Breidenbach and Hunter Scheel to the Law Enforcement Officers Memorial in Washington, D.C.
These officers lost their lives during a traffic stop in April.
The police department has partnered with The Pine Lodge Shops to sell Christmas ornaments and is also conducting “The Light the Way” donation drive.
Through this drive, individuals can donate one dollar to receive a paper blue light, with the ultimate goal of raising $50,000 for the trip.
