Firefighters from several departments converged on a business in Waterloo Thursday night when flames broke out shortly after 9:00 P-M. No injuries were reported from the fire at the Briess Malt and Ingredients plant. The company’s website indicates the location is a malthouse where employees make malt for brewing. Fire officials say the problem started near the roof of the plant. Crews worked rapidly to keep the flames from reaching any of the grain or storage space. No damage estimate has been released. Firefighters from Reeseville and Beaver Dam were among those called in from outside to help
