Charges have been brought against 35-year-old Travis Brown of Whitewater in connection with a fatal hit-and-run that occurred in 2020.
Brown stands accused of striking and killing Noe Rendon, Jr. outside his Fox Lane residence on November 14th of that year.
Investigators relied on eyewitness accounts of Brown’s actions that night, as well as those who discovered the 59-year-old Rendon’s body in the road.
Brown reported the accident six days after it happened, claiming to have struck a deer in Burnett County, approximately 300 miles away.
He is currently in custody with a $100,000 cash bond.
