A Manitowoc woman is facing charges after she allegedly stole from Pick and Save while in possession of cocaine.
Officers were dispatched to the store at 3300 Calumet Avenue just after 1:00 p.m. on Halloween on a report of a female who had attempted to steal numerous items.
The loss prevention employee told the responding officer that they watched the 39-year-old woman load up a cart with $310 worth of food and attempt to leave without paying.
The suspect initially attempted to flee when confronted but eventually agreed to be detained while police were called.
A search of the woman’s purse revealed she was in possession of a small bag of cocaine, so she was arrested.
The woman is facing charges of Misdemeanor Retail Theft, Possession of Cocaine, and nine counts of Felony Bail Jumping.
