Two suspects facing charges in the tragic murder of a five-year-old boy appeared separately in court on Tuesday.
David Pietura, aged 27, and Erik Mendoza, aged 15, are accused in the murder of Prince McCree, a young child of only five years.
According to court documents, both suspects confessed to causing the boy’s death through physical abuse on October 25th and subsequently discarding his body in a dumpster.
Charges filed against them include homicide, corpse concealment, and child abuse.
A bail of $500,000 was set for each of the suspects.
During Mendoza’s court proceedings, Prince McCree’s father attempted to confront him, leading to his removal from the courtroom.
Pietura and Mendoza are scheduled to return to court later this month.
