A Manitowoc woman who stabbed her boyfriend earlier this year has been sentenced.
34-year-old Teasa Rosemary Wences-Flores will be spending one year in prison followed by a year on extended supervision as ordered by Judge Jerylin Dietz.
She was previously found guilty due to a no-contest plea on charges of 2nd Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety and Disorderly Conduct each with Domestic Violence and repeat abuser enhancers.
Additional charges of Possession of THC, and Drug Paraphernalia, Intimidating a Victim with Use or Attempts of Force, and Misdemeanor Bail Jumping were dismissed but read into the record.
Wences-Flores was arrested in February after her boyfriend reported that the two were in an argument when she went to the kitchen, grabbed a knife, and stabbed him.
She then reportedly smirked at him and went to work.
In a separate case, Wences-Flores was found guilty due to a no-contest plea on a charge of Neglecting a Child Causing Bodily Harm, for which she was placed on three years of probation.
