The spotlight turns to artificial intelligence (AI) at the Wisconsin Capitol today as Governor Evers’ AI task force assembles to explore the role of AI in the state’s workforce.
The task force, initiated by Governor Evers, aims to investigate how AI can be harnessed by both companies and the state to support workers and businesses.
This represents a different focus compared to the Speaker’s Task Force on AI.
Key participants in the initial meeting are expected to include Wisconsin’s Department of Workforce Development and the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC).
Governor Evers has articulated his desire for the task force to generate a comprehensive report on AI’s implications for the near term and the future of Wisconsin.
