A man with a history of drug arrests has once again been detained in Manitowoc.
A Manitowoc Police Officer was on patrol when he saw an individual who appeared to be impaired walking west on Marshal Street at around 4:45 Thursday evening (October 26th).
The man, whom the officer knew from previous contacts, was said to be wearing a wig and was very protective of a backpack he had.
The man was known to have an active warrant for his arrest, so the officers searched him and found methamphetamine and a THC vaping device.
The man was arrested without further incident.
The 44-year-old man, whose name we will not release until he has had his day in court, was previously convicted of Manufacturing Methamphetamine, and Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Deliver, and Intending to Dispose of Methamphetamine Waste.
He also has two open drug cases.
