A former UW-Eau Claire employee accused of sexually assaulting a child has been cleared by a jury.
Timothy Boehnen received not not-guilty verdicts from the jury.
He allegedly touched five kids between the ages of five and thirteen, according to investigators.
Boehnen consistently maintained that he had done nothing wrong and had testified for himself during the trial.
When he was charged in 2020, he was the director of risk management at UW-Eau Claire, a position he later left.
