Manitowoc Mayor Justin Nickels
There are two meetings taking place in the Council Chambers in Manitowoc today (October 16th).
First up is the Committee of the Whole, which will convene at 5:00 p.m.
They will give the public time to comment before discussing the section of the municipal code related to accessory dwelling units.
They will also enter a closed session to review the labor agreement with the International Association of Firefighters, Local 368.
Then, at 6:30 p.m., the Common Council will take over the Chambers.
The big item on the agenda is the presentation of the 2024 Executive Budget by Mayor Justin Nickels.
The public will be given time to comment before the council discusses the items in the budget, along with several other items.
