The Manitowoc Lincoln tennis duo that was competing at the WIAA State Tournament has seen their season come to an end.
Taylor Peterson and Zylia Kleinfeld lost 6-0, 6-0 to the tandem of Lily Littrell and Abby Fraser of Divine Savior Holy Angels.
Coach Stephanie Henschel tells us that the score is “not indicative of the match. They had some great games in this match. I am proud of their play today.”
Meanwhile, the #1 seed in the tournament, fellow Shipbuilder Oliva Minkel, is on the court taking on Mana Usui of Franklin, the #16 seed.
Also still alive is the Roncalli sister tandem of Madison and Megan Lamers, who are slated to take on Haley Erlich and Lindsay Gardner of University School at 12:15 this afternoon.
