Wisconsin residents are waking up to the reality of a workday while someone in California is celebrating a monumental Powerball jackpot win.
Officials from the lottery report that a California ticket holder successfully matched all six winning numbers, claiming the staggering $1.76 billion jackpot, making it the second-largest jackpot in the game’s history.
The fortunate ticket was sold in Frazier Park, California, situated approximately 75 miles north of Los Angeles.
The last Powerball jackpot winner was also from California, and that too exceeded a billion dollars in prize money.
