In celebration of Brown County’s 200th Anniversary, local business owners Kathy and Tony Yaggie put together a limited edition souvenir for the community. The 200th Anniversary Opoly Game will help promote economic development and tourism while providing an education and rich history of Brown County.
“It’s a wonderful exhibit of history and economic development contained in a board game which can be shared with an entire family,” says County Executive Troy Streckenbach. “This is a wonderful collaborative effort which brought together small businesses and municipalities in order to celebrate Brown County’s 200th Anniversary.”
Streckenbach has decided to help promote the 200th Anniversary and the board game through a social media campaign so that community members have an opportunity to win one of these souvenirs. Inspired by Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, anyone who follows Brown County’s 200th Anniversary on Facebook and Instagram will see clues once a month for the rest of 2018 as to where the County Executive is, and if you can figure it out, you could win one of these limited edition games.
Green Bay-Austin Straubel International Airport, one of the game’s sponsors, will also conduct a giveaway of these games through social media. People who like their Facebook page will have a chance to answer a trivia question in order to win this historic keepsake.
