A man is currently in police custody following two separate incidents at the Wisconsin State Capitol, during which he was armed and demanded to see the Governor.
Capitol Police reported that the individual, identified as “Taco,” first arrived on Wednesday afternoon without a shirt and carrying a handgun, a violation of Capitol regulations.
He insisted on meeting with Governor Tony Evers. Subsequently, he was arrested, taken to jail, posted bail, and then returned to the Capitol after closing hours, this time armed with a semi-automatic rifle, once more demanding to meet the Governor.
The man has been arrested once again and is currently undergoing evaluation in a hospital.
