There are two meetings on tap for today (October 5th) in the City of Manitowoc.
The Board of Review is up first, gathering in the Council Chambers at 5:00 p.m. After conducting their annual assessment report, the board will look over eight different objections to property assessments.
These include the Walmart store on Calumet Avenue and homes on North 7th, South 8th, and South 30th Streets, as well as on Windwood and Whitetail Courts, and two self-storage facilities on South 26th Street.
Then at 6:30 p.m., the Crime Prevention Committee will convene in the Manitowoc Police Department’s Meeting/Training Room.
After getting their usual reports and updates, the group will discuss the AI Family Emergency scam.
These are the final meetings for the week in the Clipper City.
