
The Green Bay Police Department is investigating a dog-biting incident involving a juvenile.
The incident occurred at around 2:15 p.m. last Thursday (September 28th) when the child was walking on the public right of way at the intersection of Shawano Avenue and Gray Street.
According to police reports, an elderly woman was walking two leashed dogs in the same area when one of the canines bit the child in what was called an unprovoked attack.
The woman was described as a 5’ 3” tall heavier-set white woman who was wearing a white pinkish peach floral patterned blouse with brown or dark colored slacks.
The dog was a tan-colored short-haired, large breed dog similar to a Labrador retriever.
The identity of the woman is not known at this time, nor is the dog’s rabies immunization status.
