Two Rivers and Manitowoc Among Top 100 Safest Cities in Wisconsin

According to a report by the National Council for Home Safety and Security, Two Rivers is the 33^rd safest city in Wisconsin, while Manitowoc was ranked 67^th. The report uses the average number of violent and property crimes per 1000 people in last years numbers to determine the rankings. Two Rivers saw 2.31 violent crimes and 16.43 property crimes per 1000, while Manitowoc, with almost triple the popularion averaged 3.22 violent crimes and 28.2 property crimes. Other local cities on the list include Sheboygan at number 52, Green Bay ranking 62^nd, and Ashwaubenon at number 69. Hobart-Lawrence in Brown County claimed the top spot as the safest city in Wisconsin.
