The woman who allegedly hung her dogs at a park in Howard has died.
58-year-old Pamela McNeill was facing two charges of Mistreatment of Animals Causing Death, and now the prosecution is requesting a dismissal.
The judge is expected to accept the request.
McNeill was arrested in February of 2022 after witnesses reported that she was abusing her two Pomeranians at a park and ride in Howard.
When police took her into custody, she allegedly stated that the dogs were misbehaving and she didn’t want to live with that.
She also reportedly stated, “I told them I loved them and that I hoped to see them someday.”
