The attorney for the Green Bay woman convicted in the killing and dismemberment of a man has decided to withdraw his motion to delay sentencing.
The attorney for Taylor Schabusiness had filed the motion because he reported hadn’t been able to meet with his client.
However, in an updated filing issued Monday, the motion was withdrawn, noting that he had been able to meet with her on Friday.
Schabusiness was previously found guilty by a jury on charges of 1st Degree Intentional Homicide, Mutilation of a Corpse, and 3rd Degree Sexual Assault.
She had pleaded not guilty by reason of mental disease or defect, a claim that was rejected by the jury.
Schabusiness will be sentenced this morning at 9:30 a.m.
