A section of a major roadway in Sheboygan is being closed off in one direction for several days this week.
Crews will be out resurfacing the two right lanes of Soth Taylor Drive at Washington Avenue starting on Tuesday (September 19th) through Thursday, meaning any motorists that need to access Highway 28 or I-43 from that intersection will have to take a detour.
The resurfacing project will leave one lane open on southbound Taylor Drive between Crocker and Washington Avenues, but no right turns will be allowed.
Drivers will be able to use Crocker Avenue, South 32nd Street, and Washington Avenue to approach the intersection from the east, which will allow them to cross over to the highways.
