A plea agreement means a former Milwaukee police officer will spend up to three-and-a-half years in prison on a sex-crime charge. Dominique Heaggan-Brown was accused of sexually assaulting a man after they had been drinking together at a bar. Heaggan-Brown had been cleared of a fatal shooting which resulting in Sherman Park protests while he worked for the Milwaukee Police Department. He and the victim were reportedly watching television reports on the protests. Heaggan-Brown pleaded guilty to three counts of soliciting prostitution and two counts of capturing an intimate representation without consent in another incident. He also pleaded no contest to a false imprisonment charge.
