The memorial honoring the tragic incident that claimed the lives of three Girl Scouts and one mother in western Wisconsin five years ago has undergone significant enhancements.
Over the weekend, a group of dedicated volunteers dedicated their time to expand the memorial in Lake Hallie, introducing new landscaping elements, benches, and a fresh walkway.
The memorial serves as a lasting tribute to the young Girl Scouts and the devoted mother who lost their lives in a devastating accident when a vehicle veered off the road and struck them in 2018.
Green Oasis, a landscaping company, generously undertook the project without charge, providing services that would typically have amounted to approximately three thousand dollars.
