
Charges have now officially been filed against two women who led authorities on a high-speed chase through several counties.
The chase began at around 7:30 p.m. in Waupaca County after sheriff’s deputies located a vehicle that had been stolen in Illinois.
The vehicle, containing 31-year-old Nikeyia T. Jones of Wauwatosa and 37-year-old Jasmine Williams of Milwaukee fled from police into Fond du Lac and Washington Counties, where they crashed into a median cable barrier.
Authorities arrested the duo, and found numerous items of stolen merchandise totaling around $237 worth.
Both women were charged with Second Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety, Operating a Vehicle Without the Owner’s Consent, Attempting to Flee or Elude an Officer, and Obstructing, while Jones was also charged with Possession of Narcotics, THC, Cocaine, and Drug Paraphernalia, and Williams was hit with a Felony Bail Jumping Charge.
