First Lady Jill Biden is scheduled to visit Madison this week.
The White House has announced her arrival on Thursday, August 31st. During her visit, she will engage in a tour and a listening session alongside Senator Tammy Baldwin, as part of the Biden Cancer Moonshot initiative.
Together, they will emphasize the significance of early detection and enhancing accessibility to cancer screenings.
Additionally, Biden will address an event celebrating educators’ contributions, organized in collaboration with the National Education Association and the American Federation of Teachers.
This event is part of a series of back-to-school activities.
Later in the evening, she will join Senator Baldwin at a political fundraising event.
