Three sections of I-43 in our area will be affected by some work being done by the Department of Transportation this week.
Starting today (August 28th), crews will be repaving a section of the Interstate Highway at Clover Road, which is just south of the City of Manitowoc.
Crews will be out there between 7:00 and 4:00 p.m. today and tomorrow with single lane closures being used.
Crews will also be in the northbound lanes of the highway near the overpass of Orchard Road, located just north of Cleveland, on Wednesday and Thursday as they replace the cable guard.
At the same time, separate crews will be doing the same work in the northbound lanes of I-43 between Wilson-Lima Road and Highway V, located between Sheboygan and Oostburg.
In both locations, crews will begin work at 7:00 a.m. and will pack up at around 4:00 p.m.
Single-lane closures will be implemented in those areas during the work hours.
