A longtime tradition in Manitowoc is returning again this weekend.
The ManitoWALK vs ALS fundraiser will once again be held at Timeout Sports Bar and Grill, located at 1027 North Rapids Road, this Saturday.
Proceeds from the event started by Tina Kocourek years ago go to the ALS Association’s Wisconsin Chapter.
Check-in will begin at 9:00 a.m. with the gun sounding at 10:00.
Participants will walk three miles before returning to Timeout to look over the silent auction items.
A voice auction will also be held at 1:00 and a cash raffle drawing is scheduled for 2:00.
On the event website, it is said “There is no cost to register for the Walk, but if each person could fundraise $100, we’ll just be steps away from our goal of $40,000.”
