The Wisconsin Realtors Association has released its monthly statistics for July.
Manitowoc County’s numbers continue to follow a recent trend as the prices have gone up while the number of sales has gone down.
The average home in the County sold for $195,000 last month, which is up nearly 15% from last July’s price of $169,950.
The number of sales dropped by nearly one-third as 66 homes were sold in July compared to 98 in July 2022.
However, homes remained on the market for an average of five fewer days.
The statewide stats follow a similar trend, with the price rising 7.5% over the past year, checking in at $300,000 last month, while the number of sales dropped from 7,931 last July to 6,278 a month ago.
