Efforts have intensified to terminate the employment of the Kenosha police officer who was captured on video during an arrest at a local Applebee’s establishment just last month.
This week, the Rainbow Push Coalition joined the chorus of voices demanding the officer’s dismissal from the police force.
Bishop Tavis Grant, representing Rainbow Push, emphasized the necessity of holding the officer responsible for his actions.
The officer gained widespread attention when footage of him throwing punches during an arrest circulated online.
It’s worth noting that the individual being apprehended was not the original suspect being pursued by the police.
Nonetheless, according to statements from the Kenosha Police Department, the arrested individual was allegedly resisting the arrest.
An ongoing investigation is currently delving into the details of the arrest to determine the appropriate course of action.
