Four people are without a place to live following a fire yesterday in Green Bay.
According to the Green Bay Metro Fire Department, the call came in reporting the fire in the 1500 block of Main Street at around 11:00 a.m.
The caller reported seeing smoke coming from the upstairs apartment in the building, and crews arrived on the scene quickly.
The fire was extinguished and the apartment was ventilated in less than 10 minutes.
One person had to be treated at the scene for smoke inhalation but was not hospitalized.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation, but we do know it caused an estimated $30,000 in damage.
