A food truck caught fire in Sheboygan Monday evening injuring three people.
The call came in reporting the fire just before 6:00 p.m.
Crews were dispatched to the 2100 block of North 3rd Street where crews found that the fire in the unnamed food truck had been extinguished, but three people had suffered severe burns.
Additional ambulances were called to the scene to help transport all three individuals to a local hospital.
The cause of the fire is yet unknown, as is the cost of the damage.
Battalion Chief Chase Longmiller is reminding residents to ensure they are using all safety precautions when using flammable gas to cook food. The incident remains under investigation.
